Today I am pleased to announce that the International Supermarket Management Class (ISMC) held last week in Atlanta was a resounding success on all accounts. The class had an attendance of 80 people (room capacity) representing 23 countries and more than 2,000 stores, and according to the survey results, all participants would highly recommend this class.

This year we had the goal of introducing new sessions in effective management skills to improve operations, financials, people performance and leadership, as well as presenting our innovative new training model/program. We are very grateful to our faculty and team members for helping us achieve these goals.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our sponsors, The Coca-Cola Company, Mondelèz International, Anheuser-Busch, Procter & Gamble, Nestlé, and The J.M. Smucker Company. We appreciate all the support you gave for this class and all you do for the Institute as a whole.

The dates for next year are set for October 6-10, 2014, and we hope that the new training room with a larger capacity at The Coca-Cola Company will be ready to host the event.

Again, thank you to all. This is something we couldn’t have done without team support. We look forward to seeing you at the 2014 event!

Thank you,

Paulo Goelzer
